I am Yo
Yo is my maiden name and it is easier for people to pronounce instead of my first name 😂I am the owner and the lead photographer at Grapefruit Photo.
Photography has always been my passion. My background is integrated media so I have always been a visual storyteller and I will love to be your photographer for the special moment of your life! My favorite part of the wedding is when the couple exchange their vows. It gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME!
All our clients have become our friends (Check out our reviews below) and and we will make sure you have the best wedding day experience (and best photos ❤️)
An interesting fact about me is I was a swimmer for 18 years. Although I don't swim anymore regularly but I still enjoy water time in the summer with our kiddos. When I am not doing photo shoots, I enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time with my family.
I am Melanie
I am Melanie and I am the photographer at Grapefruit Photo. I am an upbeat, creative and curious person and that drives my photography style.
My background is photojournalism so I love documenting all the details of a wedding!
An interesting fact about me is I am a vegetarian and I've been obsessed with making common meat dishes vegan. Favorites so far are cauliflower buffalo wings, butternut squash spaghetti and sweet potato gnocchi.
Though, my favorite part is the first dance. I love getting to see the real and intimate moments of the wedding and capturing that with my camera. And I would feel honored to capture yours!
When I am not shooting weddings, my favorite thing to do is traveling! My husband and I not only enjoy going abroad but also discovering hidden gems locally. Whether it's a new cafe in the city or a small town with southern charm, we're enjoying every minute of it!
“5 stars! Amazing experiences and fabulous wedding photos! I would say my wedding could fall apart without Yo.. She was just so amazing! With her tremendous experiences interacting with guests and site hosts, my whole wedding pulled together smoothly and neat! All friends were amazed by the photos! Of course Yo had to roll up her clothes and got super wet in the water for our beach photos... Really thank you for the hard work!”
